Biography
Colin Schmidt, father of three children, has been involved with youth sports for over 20 years. He currently serves as the Executive Director of America SCORES Bay Area—an organization providing free soccer and academic programs to nearly 1,000 low-income youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Colin is also the owner of Coaching Cards Press and author of numerous coaching books and articles. He has served as the Director of Coaching for a youth club of players ages 4 to18 and has helped train and mentor hundreds of youth coaches. He is passionate about making youth sports a positive and meaningful experience for all involved. Colin has a bachelors degree in Philosophy and Economics from Claremont McKenna College, and a dual MBA from Columbia and the University of California at Berkeley (Haas Business School).
